I was pleasantly surprised this past week when I took a stroll through HOM Furniture.
Not because of their free cookies and soda (best incentive ever by the way) but because in their clearance section I found these pretty little items:
And now lets zoom in on the price.
$40 for a replica Louis ghost chair!? I'll take 2 please.
And this is where my new see-through friends ended up.
In the office.
I paired them next to one of my newest (and most favorite) thrift finds.
I don't know how old the table is or where it was made but all I can guess is I probably couldn't have afforded it when it was brand new. This thing is heavy and the glass is an inch thick! Quality piece for an affordable price is my game.
And see the art on the wall?
These prints are very special to me because they were drawn by my very own mother back in her college days. After a recent trip to my parents home, I found them sitting under a thin layer of dust in the basement.
My mom is one of the most talented individuals I have ever met and to be able to display her artwork is such an inspiration to me.
The office is coming together nicely! I should have a few pictures up of the DIY shelving the hubby and I installed soon. Hopefully....
