DIY: Chevron

I just love it when this ugly charming vase goes from this:

To this:

Here's how:

First, I gave the vase a fresh coat of white gloss. Then I cut and placed a chevron pattern on the vase with duct tape. (FYI: painters tape probably would have worked better for this project.) I then sprayed on the blue and peeled off the tape. The whole thing took me a little under 30 minutes. Super easy.

 

Speaking of zig-zags.... I picked up some discount fabric to make myself another pillow.
